Who Cosmetic Dentistry Is For

When I think about restorative dentistry, I think about patients who have tried to push through pain, broken teeth, or old work that is failing, and finally decide they are ready to fix it.

My job is not to judge how long it has been or how things got this way. My job is to listen, understand what is bothering you most, and help you choose a plan that protects your health and helps you feel comfortable eating, speaking, and smiling again.

If you see yourself in any of these situations, restorative dentistry may be worth a conversation:

  1. You have a tooth that hurts, throbs, or wakes you at night
  2. You have a cracked, chipped, or broken tooth or filling
  3. You are missing one or more teeth and want to chew comfortably again
  4. You were told you need dental work and feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start

How Can We Help?

“I think I have a cavity or a small problem”

“I have a cracked or heavily filled tooth”

“I am missing a single tooth”

“I am missing several teeth in a row”

Let's Plan Together!

Not sure which option fits you best? We can talk through these together at your restorative exam and build a plan that fits your health, timeline, and budget.

How We Can Repair And Protect Your Teeth

Restorative dentistry is not one treatment. It is a set of tools we use in different combinations based on what is happening in your mouth, your goals, your timeline, and your budget. Here are some of the most common ways we repair teeth and protect your smile:

What to Expect at a Restorative Visit

Your restorative visit is a clinical exam, not just a quick chat. It is a chance to understand what is going on and build a clear plan, not a commitment to doing everything at once.

1

We start with a conversation about what is bothering you most

2

We examine your teeth, gums, and bite, and review any needed X-rays

3

We separate “must do” and “should do” items and explain your options in plain language

4

We outline one or more paths with different timelines and investment levels

5

We review how insurance, direct payment, and financing options can be used, if needed

For most adults, restorative care begins with a complete exam and X-rays.

  1. You have a cracked, chipped, or broken tooth or filling
  2. If you do not have insurance or are out-of-network, we use our "Happy & Healthy Smile Assessment" so you know the total cost of the visit up front.

You leave with a written summary of your plan so you can think things over and decide when, and how, you wish to move forward.
